Decatur Preservation Alliance The Decatur Preservation Alliance (DPA) has 200 members who work locally to connect the community through the preservation of Decatur's historic structures and greenspaces. In just a few short years the DPA has taken on several successful preservation projects including the Woodlands master plan, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in South Decatur, creation of a "preservation corridor" committee, Decatur cemetery tree planting, and the relocation and stabilization of the Fraser building and the Decatur Depot.
