Court appearance required |
Charges indicated on ticket must be paid within seven days. If paid after seven days but within 20 days, the fine is doubled.
Payment for fines may be sealed inside the ticket envelope and left with the desk clerk at the police station at 420 W. Trinity Place, Decatur, GA 30030; or stamped and mailed to that address, prior to date of court appearance. To dispute charges, violator may appear at the Municipal Court, 420 West Trinity Place, Decatur, GA 30030 at 5:30 p.m. on the date specified on the ticket.
Unpaid accounts will be turned over to a collection agency after 30 days.
