2008 AJC Decatur Book Festival
Set for Labor Day Weekend
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival, presented by DeKalb Medical, announces the addition of Ty Pennington and Kathy Reichs to the 2008 author lineup. Pennington, host of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” and Reichs, whose books and work as a forensic anthropologist are the inspiration for Fox’s “Bones,” join a lineup that includes Billy Collins, Eric Jerome Dickey, John Dean, and 250 other authors.

About the Decatur Focus
The Decatur Focus is the official newsletter of the City of Decatur. Supported by the City of Decatur, the Decatur Business Association and the Decatur Downtown Development Authority, the Focus is published 10 times per year and mailed to every household, business and professional license-holder in the City. January/February and July/August are combined issues.
The Decatur Focus is filled with announcements and information about the City of Decatur including City services, downtown development issues, school news, business news, and news about individual residents and neighborhood associations. The purpose of the newsletter is to promote the City and encourage the exchange of information among residents, business owners, and the school system.
Submissions are encouraged and should be submitted by the first of the month prior to the month of publication (i.e., information that appears in the January issue should be submitted by December 1).
