2/23/2017Fayetteville Road Storm Pipe Repairs
Fayetteville Road storm pipe repairs are scheduled to start Wednesday, March 1, for a duration of three days-weather permitting. Access to driveways will be maintained for local traffic. 2/17/2017East Lake Dr. Storm Drainage Repairs Start Tuesday, Feb. 21
The City of Decatur will begin storm drainage repairs next week on East Lake Drive between 3rd Ave and Oakview Rd. The project is scheduled to begin on Feb. 21 and should last 4 days.
2/1/20172017 Neighborhood Clean-Up Days
The City of Decatur offers Neighborhood Clean-Up days once a year to help residents dispose of bulky items that don't easily fit into Pay-As-You-Throw bags. Each street in the city is assigned to a Saturday between March and June. Dates for the 2017 event are now available.
2/10/2017Work Starts on North McDonough Railroad Crossing
Work has begun on reconstruction of the North McDonough railroad crossing. CSX will be rebuilding the rail portion of the project and will need to close each crossing for about one week for its work. These closings will be announced as they approach.
